Sunshine Face Academy provides affordable, convenient, dependable child care 

services.

 

*To create a child care setting for social, cognitive, and physical development.

*To provide a nurturing environment and learning experiences for infants, toddler, 

   preschool, Pre-k and school-age children.

 *To provide a preschool program, readying children for lifelong learning as well an enriched 

   bilingual educational program.

 *To provide a community-based school that offers children the opportunity to grow 

   in a rich environment that promotes a love of learning.

 

PROGRAMS OFFERED

 

Ages: 6 Weeks - 8 Years Old

Open: Monday - Friday

Hours: 6:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

In Our Infant Program (4 weeks -1 Years)

Our children follow their own natural routine for naps and 

feeding, their day is augmented with singing, sign language, outdoor play, physical activity, including tummy time, sensory 

stimulation and lots of cuddling.

 

Toddler Program (1-2 Years)

Our Toddlers are offered a variety of opportunities to explore their world through play, gross motor and social skills

are developed through both structured and unstructured play. Their days are filled with music, art, dance, story times, sign 

language spanish classes and more.

 

Preschool (3-4 Years)

Although it may seem like fun and games to preschoolers, the curriculum we follow is packed with educational elements. 

Spanish classes, games teach pre-reading skills like phonemic awareness and letter and sound recognition, basic math 

concepts, and hands-on science exploration.

 

Pre-K Program (4-5 Years)

Imagine´s pre-schoolers are taught by experienced teachers with advanced training  and degrees in early childhood education.

Our developmentally appropriate lesson plans incorporate art, music, movement, science, computer, language, and math

activites. Teacher-guided discussions encourage children to  share their personal experiences and build a bridge between

home and social life. All Pre-K graduates are ready for kindergarden.

 

Afterschool/Summer Camp ( Ages 5-8 Years)

School Age children arrive at Sunshine Face Academy after they finish their school day,  enjoying a nutritious snack upon 

arrival.  They have the opportunity to do their homework in a group setting, with a teacher giving individualized attention to 

every child. Special activities such as art, games and free play are part of their daily and weekly schedules.

 

 

Our curriculum starts with the teacher who believes in the strength variety of the child´s self-iniciated learning. We have

a child centered classroom that responds to children´s needs and helps them to flourish.  Your child is very important to us.

 

Therefore the school endeavors to maintain open lines of comunication with parents. We provide scheduled

conferences, progress reports, monthly newsletter, as well as time for daily ´chats´ with the staff. We are always ready to

assist you or your child.
